- Buy Bricks for Play
We are finalizing brick fundraiser as we will need the bricks on Playground Build Day on August 9. Contribute $50 or more to Bricks for Play and you, your family or your friends will receive a brick that will be personalized and eventually used to pave portions of our playground or learning garden area. We are getting closer and closer to a playground but we still need to raise additional funds - this is a fun opportunity to give a lasting gift to your children and family by buying a playground brick for the holidays and have their (or your) name on our playground for all to see!
The deadline for purchasing bricks is July 1st.

- Degerberg Academy Fundraising
Degerberg Academy has done it again! They've offered a fabulous deal to Thorp families that will give your kids a chance to check out their martial arts academy while also donating to Friends of Thorp.
Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to introduce your children to the martial arts or continue training that has already begun. Martial arts training can help increase self- esteem, build confidence, instill discipline, improve listening skills and self-control, teach respect and develop coordination.
- Playground Progress
Do you know how to write grants? Do you have a connection in the community which might help us raise funds to construct a playground and our learning garden? If so, please contact us at email@example.com. We would love to hear from you and have you involved! Be sure to check out our master plan and final presentation from Urban Habitats to see what may be possible!
