Taste of Thorp 2015 totals are in...  The curtain has drawn, the champagne bubbles have faded, and after a few days to recover, the FoT team would love to give a huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to all the family, friends, teachers, staff, and community members who came together on Friday night for Taste of Thorp 2015! We were delighted to see everyone was having a great time.
With your help, our fundraising efforts during this event have raised over $25,000 (net) to go towards the exciting auditorium refurbishment project!! We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in Taste of Thorp this year. Whether you solicited, donated or created items for our silent or live auctions; helped us track down restaurants to donate food; spread the word about the event around the community; volunteered to help with set-up; volunteered to help the evening of the event; or simply attended the event and had a great time eating, drinking and bidding, you were a huge part of Taste of Thorp's success and we are incredibly grateful. Friends of Thorp could not do this without the help of Thorp's leadership, faculty, staff, parents and community - thank you all! We are proud to be a part of such a dynamic and hardworking community. We also would like to thank all of our donors and supporters. What's available during the event? ============ ONLINE AUCTION ============ This year, we've added an online auction at BiddingforGood.com. The online auction items will be completely separate from those that are at the event. Also, anyone all over the country can bid on these items, allowing our distant Thorp families and friends to participate! Here's how you do it:
====== TICKETS ====== Everyone is invited to Taste of Thorp (adults only), so please extend this invitation to friends and family. Dinner will be a buffet of specialties from local restaurants with amazing wine donated, once again, by Cream Wine. We have a silent and live auction full of fantastic items on which you can bid. All proceeds from the event will be used to improve Thorp’s auditorium! * Advance ticket prices are $30/person, $50/couple, $25/Thorp staff member or $250/table (10 people per table). * Since space is limited, and to ensure we have ample food and beverages for all our guests, we highly recommend that you purchase tickets as soon as possible. * Tickets will be on sale at https://www.biddingforgood.com/tasteofthorp until April 21. After April 21 tickets can only be purchased at the door for $40/person. * Cream Wine Company is donating wine to sell starting at $5/glass. * You can also purchase a special discounted wine card for $25 of 3 "Leading Wine"- 6 "Supporting Wine" glasses.
